Echidna is a boss that first appeared in Final Fantasy V. She appears in the southeastern room on the bottom floor of Earthgift Shrine in the GameBoy Advance and PlayStation Portable remakes of Final Fantasy I.

Equip protect rings on the entire party beforehand. Echidna likes to use Earthquake, so you will want to counteract it. She is resistant to all elements of magic so physical attacks are the way to go. Use Temper to boost your attack power and Haste to boost your attack rate.
